Sheet Head is a card game you can play against the computer or online with friends. Playing against the computer needs no account. Online play asks you to sign in. This policy explains the small amount of data the app collects and why.

What the app does not collect

• No phone number or postal address, and no name or email unless you choose to play online (see below).
• No contacts, photos, microphone or camera, and no GPS location.
• No payment information — the app is free and has nothing to buy.
• No advertising, no ad networks, and no data brokers.

What the app does collect

The app uses PostHog (PostHog Inc., data stored in the European Union) to understand how the game is used, and Firebase Crashlytics on iPhone to find crashes. Through those services the following is collected:

• Anonymous usage events — for example that a game was started, which difficulty was chosen, that the tutorial was finished or abandoned, and that a game ended. These record what happened in the game, never anything you typed or any personal detail.
• A device identifier — a random ID the app creates for itself on this device. It is not your Apple ID, your phone number, or your device's serial number, and it is reset by deleting and reinstalling the app.
• Device and approximate location — the app version, phone model, operating system, language, and a country derived from your IP address (the IP address itself is not stored).
• Crash and performance data — if the app crashes, a technical report describing where in the code it failed, along with the device model and iOS version.

None of this is linked to your identity, and none of it is used to track you across other apps or websites. (Crash reports are collected on iPhone only.)

Online play (optional)

If you play online, you sign in with Apple (iPhone) or Google (Android). The app then stores:

• A player ID — created by Google Firebase Authentication when you sign in.
• The display name you choose, so friends see who is at the table.
• Game rooms — who is in a room and the cards on the table, stored in Google Cloud Firestore while a game runs and deleted when everyone leaves.

Firebase Authentication also keeps the email address that Apple or Google shares at sign-in (Apple may give a private relay address). We never see your Apple or Google password. This data is used only to run online games.

Why

To see which parts of the game people actually reach, whether the tutorial teaches the rules, and to fix crashes. That is the whole purpose.

Who else sees it

PostHog processes usage data as our analytics provider, and Google processes crash reports and online-play data (Firebase). None of it is sold, rented, or shared with anyone else. See PostHog's privacy policy and Firebase's privacy information.

Children

The game is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, but it is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

Deleting the app stops all collection. To request deletion of the analytics data associated with your installation, email the address below and we will delete it.

Deleting your online account

In the app, open Play Online and tap Delete account. You sign in once more to confirm, and your player ID and display name are erased immediately. You can also email cohenidan.work@gmail.com with the display name you used, and we will delete the account within 30 days. Nothing is kept afterwards.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
